Description

This 1970 Piper Cherokee PA-28-140 is a rare find with only 700 hours since it was new. The plane was stored for a large portion of its life. The engine was overhauled by Mattituck with new cylinders, and has 200 hours since the overhaul. There is no damage history, hail marks, or corrosion. The airframe looks new inside. It has a Garmin 340 audio panel, a Garmin flip-flop digital Com, and a Stratus ESG transponder with ADS-B wired to all 4 seats for intercom from the 340 audio panel. It also features an LED tail beacon. The interior is like new with original glass and paint. The aircraft flies great, just like new. It was stored from 1973 until 2016 and returned to service with all new components, hoses, brakes, and O-rings. All AD’s are up to date, and the annual inspection is next due in September 2025. The original owner had heart issues and refused to sell the plane. 40 years later it was sold and returned to service, and is in mint condition with original carpet that still looks new.
