Airbus A321

Description

The Airbus A321 is a stretched version of the A320, about 44.5 meters long. It can hold around 35 more seats than the A320, but its flight range is a bit shorter. Pilots who can fly the A318, A319, and A320 can also fly the A321 with the same type-rating. Lufthansa and Alitalia were the first to receive this model in 1994, and over 1,230 have been delivered since. A new version, the A321LR (long range), is coming in 2019 to compete with the Boeing 757. Some of the main airlines that use this plane are Air China, American Airlines, and Lufthansa.
