Terms of use
Effective 20 May 2026. These terms are a binding agreement between you and 30M Limited. Please read them before using Sprinkle.
1. Who we are
Sprinkle (the "Service") is operated by 30M Limited, a private limited company incorporated in England and Wales (company number 09386561; VAT GB313487311), registered at Office 3 St Anns House, 111 Guildford Road, Lightwater, Surrey, GU18 5RA, United Kingdom. References to "Sprinkle", "we", "us" or "our" mean 30M Limited. You can reach us at nat@sprinkle.com.
2. Accepting these terms
By accessing or using Sprinkle you confirm you accept these terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. If you use Sprinkle on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age required to consent to processing of personal data in your country, whichever is higher. Sprinkle is offered globally, but it is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
4. Licence to use Sprinkle
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and view Sprinkle for your own personal or internal business reference. All other rights are reserved.
5. Reference only — not for flight operations
Sprinkle aggregates publicly available aviation data, including data sourced from civil registries such as the US FAA registry, EASA, the UK CAA and similar authorities. It is a reference surface only. It is not approved aeronautical information and is not to be used for flight planning, navigation, dispatch, fuel calculations, weight-and-balance, NOTAM checking, or any other operational or safety decision. Before acting on anything you see here, cross-check an authoritative source (e.g. the relevant State AIP, Jeppesen, Lido, NavCanada, official NOTAM service, or the aerodrome operator).
6. No warranty
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all conditions, warranties, representations and other terms which might otherwise apply — including any implied terms of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, currency or non-infringement. Data quality varies by upstream source; we reconcile in good faith but do not guarantee it.
7. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not, and will not attempt to:
- Scrape, crawl or otherwise extract data at high volume or in a way that imposes an unreasonable load on the Service. A documented RSS or API will be offered when demand warrants it.
- Use the Service or any data shown on it to harass, threaten, dox, stalk or otherwise harm any aircraft owner, operator, pilot, passenger or other person.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the source code of the Service except to the extent the law expressly permits despite this restriction.
- Resell, sublicense, syndicate or commercially redistribute substantial portions of the data or the Service without a written licence from us.
- Probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach or circumvent any security or authentication measure.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of UK, US or other applicable sanctions, export-control or aviation-security laws.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, code, layout, branding, compilations and curated datasets, is owned by or licensed to 30M Limited and is protected by UK and international intellectual-property laws (including database rights). Underlying public-registry data remains the property of the issuing authority and is used under their terms. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual-property right to you except the limited licence in clause 4.
9. Feedback and corrections
If you send us a correction, suggestion or other feedback (including data-quality reports via nat@sprinkle.com), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use it without restriction. We will treat any personal data you send in accordance with our privacy notice.
10. Third-party content and links
The Service may link to or surface third-party content (registry sources, manufacturer sites, news, images and similar). We do not control or endorse third-party content and we are not responsible for it. Your use of any third-party site or service is at your own risk and subject to its own terms.
11. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law (including, where applicable, the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 in respect of UK consumers).
Subject to the paragraph above, to the fullest extent permitted by law:
- we will not be liable for any loss of profits, revenue, contracts, business, anticipated savings, goodwill, opportunity, data, or for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential loss, arising out of or in connection with the Service; and
- our total aggregate liability to you in connection with the Service in any 12-month period will not exceed the greater of (i) any fees you have paid us for access to the Service in that period and (ii) one hundred pounds sterling (£100).
Because Sprinkle is a reference surface and not certified aeronautical information, you accept that we will have no liability for any operational, navigational or safety decision made in reliance on it.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 30M Limited, its officers, employees and contractors from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (i) your use of the Service in breach of these terms, (ii) your violation of any law or third-party right, or (iii) any operational decision you make in reliance on data shown on the Service.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend, restrict or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms or are using the Service in a way that risks harm to us, other users or third parties. You may stop using the Service at any time. Clauses that by their nature should survive termination (including clauses 6, 8, 9, 11, 12, 15 and 16) will continue to apply.
14. Privacy and data protection
Our processing of personal data is governed by our privacy notice, which forms part of these terms. 30M Limited is the data controller for personal data processed via Sprinkle under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. You can contact our data protection lead at nat@sprinkle.com. UK residents may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). California residents may exercise CCPA/CPRA rights as described in the privacy notice.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version, together with its effective date, will always be posted at this URL. Material changes will be flagged on the page for a reasonable period. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms, and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Before issuing proceedings, both parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute informally by sending a written notice describing the dispute to nat@sprinkle.com and allowing 30 days to respond.
You and we agree that the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these terms or the Service, except that:
- if you are a consumer resident in another part of the United Kingdom, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK in which you live; and
- if you are a consumer resident outside the UK, nothing in these terms removes any mandatory protection you have under the law of the country in which you live, including, for US residents, any non-waivable rights under applicable federal or state consumer law. Any claim you bring must, however, still be brought individually and not as part of a class, consolidated or representative action, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Any claim must be brought within one (1) year after it arose, or the shortest period permitted by applicable law if longer.
17. General
These terms (together with the privacy notice and any other notices we reference) are the entire agreement between you and us in respect of the Service and supersede any prior agreement on the same subject. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force. A failure or delay by us to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these terms; we may assign ours to a successor in connection with a reorganisation, merger or sale.
18. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to nat@sprinkle.com or by post to 30M Limited, Office 3 St Anns House, 111 Guildford Road, Lightwater, Surrey, GU18 5RA, United Kingdom.
