Description

The Kazan Aviation Enterprise, an official Bell authorized technical center in Russia, has expanded its Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul Certificate to include work on the Bell 505 helicopter with Arrius 2R engines. Heli Protection Europe (HeliDeal), located in the south of France, has received an AUC Certificate to train Russian pilots on the Bell 505 helicopter. The certificate, issued by Rosaviatsiya, allows for the preparation or retraining of pilots with subsequent validation by Russian aviation authorities. The first three new helicopters are already in Russia and will soon be in operation. All three helicopters are private, registered in the Russian aviation register, and have received their Certificates of Airworthiness. The Bell 505 helicopter is a promising machine in the light helicopter class, positioned between the Robinson-66 and gas turbine helicopters like the Bell 407, AW119, or Airbus H125. Over 200 Bell 505 helicopters have been delivered to owners worldwide, with some having over 1000 flight hours. The Bell 505 was certified in Russia by Rosaviatsiya in early 2019.
