Description
The Boeing 757-200 is Boeing's biggest single-aisle plane. It started flying in 1983 with British Airways and Eastern Air Lines. It was made to replace the Boeing 727. More than 900 of the 757-200s were built. It has similar designs to the 767, which was designed at the same time. It's mainly used for short and medium-length trips. The 757-200 also flies across America for the main US airlines, across the Atlantic for airlines like American Airlines, United, and Aer Lingus, and from the Western US to Hawaii. A special 757-200 is used as 'Air Force Two' when the Vice President of the United States is on it. The main airlines that use the 757-200 are American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United.
