Description

The Robinson Newscopter helicopter is fully equipped to send, receive, and record live audio and video in high definition. It is built to meet the demands of the global television industry. The live news broadcast equipment is designed, tested, and approved by the FAA to improve workflow and provide studio-quality transmission from the air. The Ikegami HD digital camera system captures news in amazing detail and vivid colors. It is mounted in the front and center of the helicopter's nose on a gyro-stabilized rocker. Basic equipment includes micro cameras for the talent inside the cabin and another mounted on the helicopter's tail, a video console, a Geneva audio system, four color video monitors, and a complete microwave transmission package.
