Description

This 1981 Mooney M20K is in great condition. It has no known damage history and has been hangared. The seller is transitioning to a float plane. The annual inspection was completed on May 13, 2025, and all ADs have been complied with. The aircraft was previously US registered. No expense was spared with recent inspections and the annual, with $150,000 spent to get the plane in perfect condition. The only deferred item is a new O2 tank, as the service life has expired. It features a new ignition switch, harness, gear switch, hot prop brushes, slip ring, battery, ELT, and tires. The paint is rated 7/10 and the interior 9/10 (newer). All 6 cylinders have new pistons, rings, exhaust valves, and exhaust valve guides, with a full inspection and repair on the cylinders. The cylinder walls were honed, and it has a new camshaft and crank bearings. The crankcase was re-machined to spec. It also has a new alternator and coupling. The starter was replaced with an overhauled starter. Both magnetos were fully serviced and inspected. The engine-driven fuel pump was rebuilt, and it has a new electric fuel pump. The turbo system was fully inspected and serviced, with new heat scat hoses. The prop hub was serviced with a new O-ring, and it has several new exhaust components and V-band turbo clamps.
