After Piper stopped making PA-18 Super Cubs in 1994, CubCrafters started building them in 1996. They made 75 of these planes between 1996 and 2006. These 75 planes are the newest Super Cubs around. This one was made near the end of that time, just before they stopped making them. This plane is in good shape and has popular upgrades. It has a 2000 lb maximum weight upgrade, a Lycoming 180 HP engine, a long 82" prop, a reinforced baggage area, a headerless fuel system, and larger fuel tanks. It was upgraded at CubCrafters in 2015 with new avionics. This plane is great for backcountry flying with many improvements and STCs. It has about 700 hours of total time and less than 100 hours since the engine was overhauled. It has a fresh CubCrafters annual inspection from June 2024. This is a classic PA-18 Super Cub that is ready for any adventure.
